3 Shopping Tips From A Thrift Store Pro
Keep a list of what you’re looking for on your phone. This will keep you from feeling overwhelmed when you walk into a thrift store. Instead of mindlessly wandering the aisles (unless that’s what you want and have the time), you can go straight to the sections that might have the items you’re shopping for.
Check the other sections. You don’t have to be limited to women’s or men’s. I often find really great long-sleeve button downs and t-shirts in the men’s section and cute tops and dresses in the plus-size section. If you’re petite, check the kid’s section!
Look for deals! Most thrift stores have some sort of discount program. Check for signs at the front of the store indicating which items are discounted that day. If they have them, follow their social media accounts and sign up for their email newsletter.
If you don’t have time to browse the endless racks at the thrift store, I’ll do it for you. Sign up to receive a Secondhand Style Box, and I’ll send you items that match your style.
